Jean-Francois Favier was a member of the Cadre Noir from 1980-1992. The Cadre Noir, as a part of the French National School of Equitation (ENE), is responsible for several different functions. The forming and perfecting of future instructors, training horses, judging, and maintaining the tradition of the Classical French School.

| Mr. Favier has taught, trained, and judged at the highest levels of Dressage competition. A former International FEI Judge Jean-Francois participated in a program with FEI in Switzerland. He was then selected to train and follow the formation of the French Dressage Judges at the National and International level. This experience allows him to teach, following the FEI rules, which are invaluble to his students persueing competition.

In the years from1987-1992 he particated as a member of the French Federation Dressage Commission. Member of the French Federation of Commission of Vaulting. Co-trainer of the French National Dressage team, in the late 1980's, he was responsible for the the training of the Young Riders Team of France. The team participated in the European Championships.
Mr.Favier also participated in the organization and teaching of the Judge's courses of the FEI, the Olympic body that governs international dressage competitions.
